I received my B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University in 2007.  Since then, I have gone on to obtain a M.Ed. and Ed. S. degree from VSU as well. In addition to these degrees, I also hold an ESOL endorsement.

I have been teaching at the elementary level since 2007.  I taught third and fifth grade for eight years in Colquitt County.  I taught first grade in Cook County from 2015-2018. I am currently teaching second grade.  I have taught in various classroom settings including ESOL, Special Education (co-teach), and Gifted.  Additionally, I have participated in various professional developments and served on multiple committees within the school systems.

I am originally from Cook County, and I was a 2003 graduate from Cook High School.  I have been married since 2011, and together we have two beautiful children . In addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy photography, animals, and traveling.
