Hi! I'm Cindy and I have lived in Cook County my entire life.  In fact, I got to teach along beside my kindergarten teacher. How great is that?  I began my teaching career in 1988 with 26 five year olds. I taught kindergarten for 14 years before moving on down to PreK.  I spent 9 wonderful years there before moving to first grade where I now reside. I have been teaching first grade since 2011. I came to the realization that I am a "little people person!"  My little friends give me so much joy each and every day! My goal as a teacher is to build positive relationships with my students as I provide them with meaningful learning experiences.

 I married my high school sweetheart, David Wall.  We are still happily married. We have one daughter, Emily, who is our pride and joy!  Emily lives in Athens where she attends UGA school of Pharmacy. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I also love to shop and travel.
