Experience:

  I began teaching in 2006 and have spent one year in Pre-K but have spent the majority of my teaching in first grade. I am currently teaching second grade!!

Bio

My name is Joy and I feel so blessed to be a teacher. I love children and love seeing the difference I make in the children I teach. I began my education at ABAC and graduated with an Associate's in Science. I left ABAC and joined VSU where I graduated with my Bachelor's in Education. I graduated with my master's in reading from Walden University in 2014.  I obtained my specialist degree in Early Childhood in 2018.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart since 1998 and we have three sons.  Two of my sons share the same birthday but are a year apart and our third is a summer baby.

We enjoy showing hogs! I enjoy going to church with my family! We love vacationing at the beach every summer with extended family!

I love working with children and I am looking forward to meeting and working with your children.
