About the Teacher

Hello! My name is Mandy Ward. I'm married to Patrick Ward, and we have a beautiful daughter named Rebecca. I love to read, play board games and card games, and have fun with my family! I graduated from Cook High School in 1999 and then attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College where I earned an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. After ABAC, I attended Valdosta State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. After teaching for a few years, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics for Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Finally, I earned an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development through Walden University. I also have a Gifted Endorsement and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Endorsement. In 2006, I began teaching at Cook Elementary School, where I taught third grade for 13 years. In 2019, I moved to Cook Primary School and began teaching in the STEM Lab. I love working with children and helping them grow and learn!
