Mychal Riley Marlette is a 1st Grade Special Education teacher at Cook Primary School. She has always had a love for children and a passion for education. Both of her parents were educators, and as a young girl she knew she wanted to be a teacher when she grew up. She advocates for her students and is thankful to be a part of the CPS family. She is a 2013 graduate from Cook High School. Go Hornets! After high school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. She is currently pursuing a Master of Elementary Education degree from Liberty University through their online program. She is a proud part of the School Environment Committee, ensuring the smallest to the tallest at CPS feel appreciated and valued. Mychal Riley has a wonderful husband, Caleb and a precious little boy, Cooper.
