My name is Cathy Carter and I teach 1st grade.  I am married to Matt Carter and we have one son. I enjoy teaching and spending time with my family and friends.

I graduated from Cook High School in 2005. After high school, I attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College where I earned an Associate of Early Childhood degree. After ABAC, I attended Valdosta State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Then I obtained a Master's degree in Instructional Technology In Secondary Education. 

I began working in Cook County in 2010. I have also taught third grade and second grade.
